Abilympics 2027: Calling all talented Malaysians with disabilities

The Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation (MCR), in collaboration with the National Council of Welfare and Social Development Malaysia (MAKPEM), has launched the Abilympics Awareness Campaign to raise awareness and encourage talented Malaysians with disabilities to participate in the 11th Abilympics, which will be held in Helsinki, Finland, in 2027.

Known as the “Olympics of Abilities,” the Abilympics is an international skills competition held every four years, celebrating the talents, skills and capabilities of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across a wide range of vocational and professional categories.

Through this initiative, MCR aims to identify and empower talented Malaysians with disabilities, provide opportunities for skills development and international exposure, and support the Malaysian delegation in representing the nation on the global stage.

Malaysia’s journey to Abilympics Helsinki 2027 begins with discovering the talents and abilities within our community.
