The Department of Social Welfare (JKM) commemorates its 80th Anniversary, marking eight decades of dedicated service to the community and the nation. The celebration honours JKM’s longstanding commitment to protecting, supporting and empowering individuals, families and communities, particularly vulnerable groups and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

This milestone reflects JKM’s continued journey in strengthening social welfare services and building a more inclusive, caring and resilient society.
