The Asia and Pacific Disability Forum (APDF) Conference 2025 was held from 29–31 October 2025 in Ulsan, Republic of Korea, bringing together disability organisations, civil society representatives, policymakers and advocates from across the Asia-Pacific region. The conference carried the theme “Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Towards an Inclusive and Accessible Asia-Pacific for Persons with Disabilities.”
The conference served as a regional platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing and collaboration on disability rights, inclusion and empowerment. Key discussions focused on implementing the Jakarta Declaration, digital inclusion and accessibility, employment, youth with disabilities as change-makers, meaningful participation, and long-term strategies for disability-inclusive development.
The event further strengthened regional cooperation among organisations working towards a more inclusive, accessible and rights-based society, while reinforcing the importance of meaningful participation and representation of persons with disabilities across the Asia-Pacific.
